I love the advice you shared 😊I call myself an intuitive plotter. I need the outline of the plot, because it gives me the guidelines I need to embark on the writing journey. But I don't plan every beat according to a predetermined structure that I'm pedantic about following. I create the beats and plot points (and write, of course) intuitively based on my own sense of what the story needs.
I really enjoyed your insights here. We definitely need a blended term. A plantser? I also find myself somewhere in the middle. If forced to choose a side, I'm probably a pantser. But I do make use of outlining both before writing and even more so as I'm revising. I honestly think that all writers are a hybrid of the two. It's a spectrum ❤️
