Hello writers!
Our next writing session is on Monday, June 23 EST from 6:30-8:00 PM EST. For those of you who are new, or are considering joining us, here’s a little information.
If you can’t join us in person, I’ll post a replay and you can have some structured time to write, too. Please do let me know if the replays are useful to you.
Women’s circles have a long tradition dating back to ancient times. They are spaces for women to connect and support one another in their creative pursuits. In the spirit of women’s circles, I formed a writers’ circle on Substack. You are welcome to join us!
The writers I work with tell me finding time in their busy lives to write is their biggest obstacle. I hear it again and again. It’s not that they don’t have time, it’s that they fill that time with other tasks on their to-do lists.
Do you have goals you want to meet, a book you want to start (or complete), a desire to focus on your passion? Do you find it difficult to prioritize yourself? If this sounds like you, the writing circle will provide a specific date and time to write, an opportunity to set biweekly goals, and a community of other writers. Isn’t it time to put yourself on the schedule?
Here are the details for the Women Writing Circle:
Biweekly 90-minute meetings focussing on writing
Goals check-in
Two 30-minute writing sprints (more if time allows)
A supportive and encouraging environment
A community of writers
A shared Google Classroom space to connect online
We meet biweekly on Mondays (2nd and 4th Mondays of the month) from 6:30-8:00 PM EST with occasional bonus sessions.
This offering is for paid subscribers. You can learn more about the benefits of subscribing here. If you are a free subscriber and ready to commit to your writing, upgrade to paid and join us to write.
