As an author and book coach, I’m fascinated by the spaces and places women writers create for themselves in a world that demands so much of their attention. With long to-do lists, and not enough hours in the day, it’s a wonder we find time to create at all. Yet, we do.
Through the years, I've heard and read a lot of advice about writing. I want to hear from real women about the best writing advice they’ve received, and the worst. Plus, I want to draw on their personal experiences to learn their pro-tips.
Women Writing is not only for women. Anyone, at any stage of their writing journey, can benefit from the experiences of creative women.
My wish for you is to find inspiration from the experiences of women doing the work, finding time and space to commit to their goals, and giving themselves grace through the journey.
Every path is different, but we can learn from one another, and find inspiration in each other’s experiences. Ram Dass said, “We’re all just walking each other home.” I love that idea. As writers, we can take each other’s hands so we’re not alone, lead the way when the fog sets in, give a little push when the climb is steep, and lift each other up when we stumble.
I believe the world needs more women’s stories. Are you ready to write yours?
As an Author Accelerator Certified Fiction Book Coach, I help women write the books they’ve been dreaming about. Let me show you how.
Women Writing is a weekly newsletter featuring women who are doing the difficult work of writing. If you enjoyed reading the newsletter, please share it with a fellow writer. Let’s inspire each other!
